IRWIN
Irwin is an Italian painter and Street Artist based in Milan, Italy.  He was born in 1983 and started painting in 1997. He graduated in Visual Art from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence before going on to specialize in Curatorial Practices and Exhibition Design at the Center for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci in Prato. Irwin’s artistic style focuses on the blurring of lines between societal reality. He likes to create distinctive, hypnotic images using proportion, colour and texture to represent themes such as Life vs Still Life, Environment vs Imagination and Inner vs Outer Experience.

Irwin appropriates graffiti, graphic design, illustration and figurative drawing with text and images to explore his themes, using reclaimed abandoned items and urban spaces as his canvas. His work features on the walls, streets and bridges of Milan,Florence,Berlin,Costa  Rica,Portugal and even further afar to help serve as a continuous exploration and experimentation of self and the environment around him.
