JING SHIJIAN

Jing Shijian was born in Liaoning, China, in 1960. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art in 1988, where he later become associate professor. He is currently the Director of the Multidimensional Expression Painting Studio of the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art, and he earned a doctorate in theory and practice of painting. Among other awards, Jing Shijian won: The National Art Exhibition Excellence Award, the China Oil Painting Annual Exhibition Excellent Work Award,  the Hong Kong Return Art Exhibition Gold Award and the Macau Return Art Exhibition Silver Award.
